As parents we want our children to have a strong voice, to make healthy decisions, and to have the courage and strength to pursue their dreams. At Adventure Within, young people learn how to listen to their heart and passions, practice empathy and deep listening to their peers, and engage in participatory leadership and team dynamics. With the skillful support of adult facilitators, this unique opportunity to empower participants to co-create their own community is the foundation of the Adventure Within program.
They may hike, swim, create art, journal, read, play field games, cook. They explore friendship and co-leadership. They create real community together. Women mentors hold space to create sharing and friendship and to discover the unique potential each student brings when they join our community.
Let us know if your girls want to join the circle.
